The Pom Squad's Giving Tuesday Goals
The Pom Squad is very excited to be participating in our first Giving Tuesday. We have set some big goals as a rescue and would love to have as many of you as possible help us meet them. We could not do everything we do without the help and support of our donors, volunteers, and followers. Our rescue is less than a year old and we have already saved 120+ dogs. This is truly only possible because of YOU. Please consider helping us reach our goals, it is as easy as sharing our Facebook page with your friends!
500 New Facebook Likes:
One of the easiest ways for you to help us is by sharing our Facebook page with all of your friends. There are two different ways that you can do this.

Share our page on your news feed: To share our Facebook page on your News feed, you will first go the The Pom Squad Facebook page. Once there, on the far right side of the page (next to the magnified glass), you will see a button with three horizontal dots. Click on this and you will see a drop down. Choose "Share" and this will create a post with our page linked to it. Please share with your friends the opportunity to help the Pom Squad this Giving Tuesday!

Invite Your Friends to like The Pom Squad page: You will do the same thing as above and go to the Pom Squad's Facebook page. You will click on the three horizontal dots on the far right side of the page. Once you see the drop down, click "Invite Friends." You will then have the option to pick which friends you would like to invite. If you feel comfortable, we would love for you to share this with all of your friends. You can click the "Select All" button to share with all of your friends.

5 New Fosters/Volunteers
Volunteers and fosters are the bread and butter to our rescue. They are the people who are interacting with our dogs and adopters. These guys foster, transport, take dogs to their vet appointments, etc. They are the legs of this whole opperation. We could NOT do it without all of them.

We are looking for 5 more people who are willing to volunteer to let one of our little ones stay with them while we vet them and find them a forever home. The Pom Squad will supply everything you need to take care of the dog such as collar, leash, pee pads, pee bands, crates, etc. All we need from you is to love on them, take them to their vet appointments (if close by), and possibly allow their new owners to come over to pickup their new dog. This is a great way for you to help us that does not require you to spend money. If you are interested in fostering for us, please fill out an application by clicking here.
$2,000 in Donations
As a non-profit run by volunteers, donations are a great way to help us pay for vaccines, treatments, procedures, grooming, etc. It also allows us to rescue dogs from the puppy mills in Missouri who are living in terrible conditions. For Giving Tuesday, we would like to raise $2,000 in donations. Every little bit counts! Below are some treatments, procedures, tests, etc. that our dogs have to have before being adopted out. Again, we are so thankful for ANYTHING you give and we know our puppies are too!

Rabies Vaccination - $15
Heartworm Test - $35
Spay/Neuter - $100
Dentals - $200-300
Heartworm Treatment: $400-$500
These are just a few of the medical costs that we have when rescuing dogs. If you would like to sponsor one of the procedures, tests, spay/neuters, etc. we would be very grateful! Every bit given is another dog that we can rescue. You can donate by clicking here or going to our Donation page.

The itmes on our wishlist are things that we give to our fosters while they are taking care of the dogs such as collars, leashes, pee pads, pee bands, crates, etc. We also like to supply our new adopters with leashes and collars if they need them. We like to be generous with the things we have and make sure that our fosters and adopters have everything they need when they take the dog home.
